The music was still bumping, but as I grabbed the remote from the coffee table, the room went dead silent. You could hear a pin drop. My ex-fianc\u00e9, Mark, went completely pale and dropped his drink, splashing beer all over his expensive new shoes. Chloe, my \u201cstudy abroad\u201d roommate, looked like all the blood had drained from her face.<\/p>\n
